Lady Gaga Performs in Christmas Tree Lighting Event

The TV network NBC celebrated lighting of the renowned Christmas tree with the event “Christmas in Rockefeller Center”.

The live show was hosted by anchors Natalie Morales, Al Rocker, Savannah Guthrie, and Matt Lauer. It was broadcasted live from NYC’s Rockefeller Center. The event highlighted spectacular performance from Lady Gaga. She performed the classic “Winter Wonderland” and her fashion looks really caught everyone’s attention.

Although Lady Gaga is famous for her crazy and wild fashion looks, she donned an exclusive white gown for this special Christmas show and appeared pretty and tasteful. The singer looked pretty and elegant. She wore a metallic eyeshadow as well as little crystals o the lids.

Apart from the Lady Gaga, other artists that performed in the show included Pentatonix (consisting of Kirstie Maldonado, a former student of OU); Trisha Yearwood (Owasso resident); LeAnn Rimes; Idina Menzel; Seth MacFarlane; Cyndi Lauper; and Tony Bennett.

This 82nd holiday extravaganza featured an eighty-five feet high Norway Spruce brought from Hemlock Township. As revealed by a news release, the Norway Spruce weighs around 13 tons and is 90 years old. NBCUniversal’s sustainability initiative, Green is Universal, and Arbor Day Foundation started their “Share a Tree” tree-planting campaign during the broadcast of the show.

When the folks visit the foundation’s website, they’ll witness a digital forest that consists of trees that are hand-drawn by NBCU talents like Jim Cramer, Andy Cohen, Alison Sweeney, Natalie Morales, Al Roker, and many more.
